Introduction Inbox Sweeper (“the Extension”) is a Chrome extension designed to help users quickly clean their Gmail inbox by identifying and deleting unwanted or recurring emails. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we access, how it is used, and your rights as a user. 2. Data We Access Inbox Sweeper only accesses Gmail data that is strictly required for its functionality. Specifically, the Extension may access: Gmail metadata Sender email addresses Email subject lines Labels (e.g., Inbox, Spam, Promotions) Message IDs Optional actions (only when the user chooses) Deleting emails Applying Gmail labels We do NOT access or store: Email body content Attachments Contacts Sensitive or personal information 3. How We Use Your Data All data processing happens locally in your browser. Inbox Sweeper uses Gmail metadata only to: Identify recurring senders Allow you to mark senders as "always delete" Delete messages or move them to another label when you click the action We DO NOT: Store any data on external servers Transfer or send any data to third parties Use your data for advertising or analytics Sell or share your data 4. Data Storage Inbox Sweeper does not store any Gmail data outside your device. The only data stored locally (using Chrome storage) is: List of senders you have chosen to auto-delete Extension settings Your chosen preferences This data remains on your device only and can be deleted at any time. 5. Permissions The Extension uses the minimum set of permissions needed to function, including: https://mail.google.com/* (to interact with Gmail UI) storage (to save your preferences locally) No additional permissions are requested. 6. Google API Services Compliance Inbox Sweeper’s use of Google user data complies with: Google API Services User Data Policy Limited Use requirements This means: ✔️ Data is used only to provide the extension’s features ✔️ No data is transferred, shared, or stored externally ✔️ No data is used for any other purposes (advertising, profiling, analytics) 7. Third Parties Inbox Sweeper does not share data with any third parties, and it does not use third-party servers, trackers, or analytics tools. 8. User Control & Data Deletion You have full control over your data. At any time you may: Remove the extension from Chrome Clear Chrome extension storage Remove any sender rules you previously saved No Gmail data is stored by us, so removing the extension deletes all locally stored preferences. 9. Children’s Privacy This extension is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children. 10.
